From 2014 to 2023, I served as Creative Director for Thoughtworks’ premier invite-only executive event. As the company grew, the event brand evolved with it, balancing sophistication with innovation. My role included every creative touchpoint: creating visuals for the theme of the event, collateral for web, email and on-site branding, designing the staging for the speakers, creating and directing graphics for the stage, making sure all speaker presentations met strict standards, guiding experiences designed to infuse the culture from our host city and leading the external A/V team throughout the entire production. All on a budget that needed to stay below $1M. The objective was always about ensuring that every detail contributed to an unforgettable experience for Thoughtworks’ executive guests which helped them establish credibility with their clients as thought leaders and a source for them to interact with peers from other industries in a close, intimate setting. The last ParadigmShift in 2023 influenced $59M+ in won opportunities with over 95% of attendees saying they would recommend the experience to a colleague.
